The key difference between the two decks was that Shimadas included the Jolteon package used to shut off the Abilities of Water-Pokmon, which unfortunately were seven dead cards in this matchup

The Urza Lands (Urza's Tower, Urza's Power Plant, Urza's Mine): These lands offer incredible mana ramp when paired together, making them highly desirable for ramp strategies

On paper, Dark Synchro Summoning seems like it could have been a decent official Summoning method
