Having a bunch of card draw and recursion makes the deck surprisingly good at grinding through removal, and the janky-looking "draw a second card" creatures are actually surprisingly strong in a deck built to support them

This works perfectly with an equipment-focused Samurai deck, letting you build up buffs on a single target, safe in the knowledge that Isao is always on hand to save them from removal
