So, while I don't consider myself the Alpha and Omega of either, I've got a bit of a background from which to speak

The deck starts by casting a number of efficiently-costed creatures, many with strong secondary abilities that help accelerate out your powerful mid-game threats including Llanowar Loamspeaker (acceleration) and Floriferous Vinewall (land fetch)

I was never going to be a threat to the more experienced players on my table, but that knowledge helped me hold my own
