I can see Alrund being a flavorful Commander in his own right, but where hell truly shine is in an Eligeth, Crossroads Augur deck

While these are nice utility for longer grindy games the benefit these offer don't stack like Phyrexian Altar or Goblin Bombardment and so they are far less useful in a bursty combo sense
