Burgundy Size:Quince A One of the oldest recordedA Welsh perry pear from Monmouthshire. Round conical fruit, a likely sport of Blakeney Red, although larger with a different flavour. Sports are naturally occurring mutations that can give rise to a new variety. Green with red flush in the sun, some russet. Flowers mid April.
