On my morning walks through Davis, West Virginia my dad's town the Indigo Buntings called from somewhere in all that green, close and constant and completely hidden. Then one morning, there he was: that impossible blue, right in front of me. The bird that doesn't quite seem real until it is. This is the piece that holds the whole feeling of the collection for me.
