18th Century Oak Coffer English pottery 5cm diameter x 518th Century Oak Coffer. 18th Century English carved oak coffer of traditional form, the hinged plank top above a richly carved front incorporating geometric lozenge panels framed by scrolling foliate decoration. The frieze carved with flowing lunettes and centred by an iron lock escutcheon, raised on stile feet with shaped apron beneath. Retaining a deep storage interior, this handsome coffer displays the robust craftsmanship and decorative carving
