The big difference is that stax cards usually inhibit your opponents' ability to play the game in some way, whereas pillow fort strategies don't normally interfere with the way opponents develop their own individual gameplans
Don't forget there's an entire deck dedicated to the glorious villains of the show, and they'd love nothing more than to force your opponents to face villainous choices
They're not a requirement for a good deck, but mythic rares can be the bombs and strategy-accelerating cards you need
