It does bother me a little that it itself is not a permanent, because most of your Black/Green decks are going to want as many permanents as possible to get the best mileage out of all the Descent stuff, and obviously it isnt very good in your opening hand A 5-mana 6/4 with Vigilance and Menace is already a pretty imposing creature, and this one can come back in the later stages of the game
