It's a medium sized shrub: compact, with a rounded form. In fall the small green elliptic leaves turn burgundy. It needs good air circulation so don't place other plants too close for comfort. Prompt removal of faded flowers before seed set will increase bloom in the following year. It's a real sweetheart.
