Both masks feature heart shaped faces with kaolin pigment, narrow slit eyes, and vertical ridged noses characteristic of the Lega tradition. Each mask retains attached raffia fiber beard material at the chin. One mask has a lighter overall surface with a prominent central vertical ridge running from forehead to chin, while the other has a darker brown surface
