酸甜宜人的櫻桃香氣與多種香料混合的複雜香氣，結構完整，單寧質地細緻，與肉類料理更是絕佳搭配。
釀造：有機栽種。釀造時，秉持傳統全數酒款不做添糖，發酵時僅由酵母自行啟動與停止，一律使用不銹鋼槽或惰性容器培養。這種傳統作法是目前Mosel河區域的頂酒商的主流趨勢，而Meulenhof正是首批使用這種釀造法的先驅。
位於背斜谷出口處南端高坡的一級園Les Champonnets與Les Champeaux相同，皆有草地或田地之意，位於海拔280公尺，Lavaux峽谷的出口，受到冷風吹拂，葡萄保有鮮明的酸度，同時也較為晚熟，經常出現紫羅蘭、新鮮漿果的調性，靠近特級園Ruchottes Chambertin，因此風土特性也頗為神似。酒體龐大，風味強勁，單寧骨架結實，建構出多層次的風味與線條。集中濃密的果味，並且充滿活力。
