When Set Boosters first premiered, we did something we called connected cards where the commons and uncommons in one portion of the booster had a thematic connection between individual cards
Legends (the leaders of your deck who you build your deck around, not too dissimilar to a decks Commander in Magic), Units (your grunts on the ground, doing the fighting), Programs (Cyberpunks equivalent to spells, one-time effects), and Gear (equipment you attach to improve your units)
The individual components of each turn are identical in every MTG format, and Commander is no different
The creator of Magic, Richard Garfield, would always be referred to as Richard Garfield, Ph.D whenever an article references him
This led to enough players thinking their opponent automatically lost the match once the card was played that the wording was altered for the Alpha set
