Hand embroidered in silks onto a fine wool broadcloth, possibly from the Stroud woollen mills, where it is still produced to this day. The appliqu pieces are carefully and accurately inset into the ground rather than sitting on top, a skilled technique for which Rescht is famous. This panel has been stretched and mounted onto conservation
